East Mississippi Community College selects 2016-17 cheerleading team

SCOOBA – Following recent on-campus tryouts, East Mississippi Community College has selected the school's cheerleading team for the upcoming 2016-17 academic year.  The selections were made by first-year EMCC head cheerleading coach Delaney Miller.

EMCC's 2016-17 cheer squad will initially consist of eight returning student-athletes and nine new members.  Returning to cheer for the Lions during the new academic year will be: Megan Coston (West Jones HS); Chance Garner (Ocean Springs HS); Natalie Goodin (Neshoba Central HS); Anna Hightower (East Webster HS); Neiko Howell (Starkville HS); Kayla Pinter (Sebastopol HS); Patience Rowell (Wayne County HS); and Greg Traylor (Southaven HS).

East Mississippi's incoming class of new cheerleaders will include: Ashlyn Armstrong (Caledonia HS); Brooke Dodd (Florence HS); Lexie Fallon (George County HS); McKenzie Jenkins (Northeast Lauderdale HS); Lovebiah Johnson (New Hope HS); Connor Lai (Germantown HS); Leighton Moffett (West Lauderdale HS); Jade Pee (Leake Academy); and Kayla Tanner (George County HS).
