For the second time in three weeks, East Mississippi Community College claimed a women’s rodeo team title along with a second-place men’s team showing this past weekend at the Weevil Stampede hosted by the University of Arkansas at Monticello. The three-day rodeo concluded with Saturday’s championship round at the Drew County Fairgrounds.
East Mississippi Community College’s 2020-21 sports season looks to officially get underway this week (Sept. 17-19) as the EMCC men’s and women’s rodeo teams are scheduled to open the fall portion of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association’s Ozark Region schedule in Missouri.
