Exciting collegiate rodeo action returns to the Lauderdale County Agri-Center this week, as East Mississippi Community College’s 13th Annual Intercollegiate Rodeo kicks off Thursday (March 13) in Meridian. The three-day event will conclude with Saturday night’s (March 15) championship finals.
East Mississippi Community College had seven team ropers advance to Saturday’s championship round of the Annual Southern Arkansas University Intercollegiate Rodeo. The three-day NIRA Ozark Region event took place this past weekend at SAU’s Story Arena.
The East Mississippi Community College rodeo teams posted season-best finishes in both men’s and women’s team competition this past weekend at the Weevil Stampede/UAM Collegiate Rodeo. Hosted by the University of Arkansas at Monticello, the three-day NIRA Ozark Region event concluded Saturday at the UAM Truck Driving Academy.
