With an 8-2 nightcap victory, the Lions of East Mississippi Community College earned a road doubleheader split with Meridian Community College during Tuesday afternoon MACJC softball action played at Tommy McDonald Field in Highland Park. The Lady Eagles claimed a 3-2 win over EMCC in the opening contest.

The Lions of East Mississippi Community College extended their softball winning streak to nine consecutive games with a 5-2 home win over Southwest Mississippi Community College Sunday afternoon at the EMCC Softball Field. The visiting Lady Bears claimed a 3-1 victory in the nightcap.

A five-run seventh inning lifted the visiting East Mississippi Community College softball team to a 7-4 come-from-behind, nightcap victory and a doubleheader sweep over Holmes Community College Wednesday afternoon in MACJC conference action. The Lions exploded for a nine-run fourth inning in the opener to begin the day with a 10-6 win over the Bulldogs.
