Two-time all-region women’s basketball standout Quantesha Patterson of East Mississippi Community College has signed a National Letter of Intent to continue her collegiate career at Delta State University.
Three East Mississippi Community College basketball players have been named MACJC All-State First Team for their season-long efforts this past year. Repeat women’s honoree Quantesha Patterson and freshman teammate Tyeisha Juhan along with sophomore men’s recipient David McFarland were chosen by the respective head basketball coaches of the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges.

The East Mississippi Community College women’s basketball team dropped a tough-luck 60-59 decision to Copiah-Lincoln Community College during Monday’s opening round of the MACJC State Basketball Tournament. The four-day tournament is being hosted by Jones County Junior College at A.B. Howard Gymnasium.
